1. Stay times and check-in
- The apartment is let by the night. A night runs from 15:00 on the arrival day to 10:00 on the departure day.
- Requests to extend a stay should be made in advance. We accommodate them where possible; an extension may cost extra.
- Access is given remotely by text or email as a code for the door lock. If anything goes wrong we can open the door remotely. RFID cards that open the lock are also left in the apartment.
- Please confirm your arrival time by phone or email no later than the day before.
- The local tourist fee (opłata miejscowa) is charged according to the current resolution of Zakopane Town Council.
- We may refuse a guest who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, is abusive or aggressive towards staff, makes threats, refuses to pay for the stay or mandatory fees, or refuses a card pre-authorisation.
2. Booking and payment
- Bookings are made through the booking engine on giewontview.pl, by phone or by email. Online payments are processed by Przelewy24.
- A booking is confirmed once the deposit is paid. The amount, deadline and payment details are shown when you book and sent by email.
- Changing dates or extending a stay is only possible by prior agreement.
- Cancellations follow the conditions shown when booking. Under Article 38(1)(12) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, the statutory right of withdrawal from distance contracts does not apply to accommodation services for specific dates.
- The number of guests may not exceed the number stated in the booking. For each extra, undeclared guest we charge a contractual penalty of PLN 200 per night and may refuse access.
- Leaving early for reasons beyond our control does not entitle the guest to a refund for unused nights. In case of a sudden failure or force majeure we may shorten the booking and refund the unused nights.
3. House rules
- Pets are welcome. Any extra fee is agreed before booking unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Smoking tobacco, e-cigarettes and other substances is strictly forbidden. Odour removal costs PLN 500.
- Parties are not allowed. Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 06:00.
- Please be considerate to neighbours and keep the apartment, staircase and surroundings clean.
- If disturbances require an intervention by our representative, the municipal police or the police, we may terminate the contract immediately through the guest’s fault and charge a contractual penalty of PLN 1,000.
- Staff may enter the apartment without the guest’s consent if people or property are at risk, the rules are seriously breached, or behaviour threatens significant damage.
4. Liability and damage
- Please report any missing items or faults on the day of arrival (text or email). Otherwise the apartment and its equipment are deemed handed over in good order.
- Guests are liable for damage beyond normal use to the apartment, its equipment, the building’s common areas and neighbouring flats caused by them or people staying with them.
- A towel damaged beyond normal wear: PLN 40 each. A lost key or remote: PLN 100 each.
- Deductions from a deposit do not exclude claims for damage exceeding it. We may charge the guest’s card with the amount of the loss.
- On departure day the guest allows us to inspect the apartment.
- We are not responsible for items left in the apartment and do not store them.
- With our consent, a guest may transfer the rights and obligations under the contract to a third party who takes them over in full.
5. Complaints
Please raise complaints on the day of arrival or during your stay, by phone (+48 500 146 914) or email (kontakt@giewontview.pl), so we can respond straight away. We handle complaints within 7 working days.

- Matters not covered here are governed by the Polish Civil Code and Consumer Rights Act.
- Disputes with businesses are settled by the court competent for the provider’s registered address. Disputes with consumers are settled by the court competent under general rules.
