Zakopane in summer: valleys and trails straight from the apartment
In summer the nearest Tatra valleys start 2–3 km from the apartment. Head out on the trail in the morning, come back for dinner on Krupówki in the evening, and leave the car in the free car park the whole time.

Dolina Białego
The nearest valley, about 1.9 km from the apartment. A rocky gorge with a stream and footbridges, good for a shorter outing.

Sarnia Skałka
A low viewpoint with one of the best views of Giewont. Reach it from Dolina Białego or Dolina Strążyska.

Dolina Kościeliska
A wide, gentle valley about 6.8 km to the west, with caves and a tarn. Good for a full day out, kids included.

Kuźnice and Kasprowy
From Kuźnice (3.8 km) trails lead to Hala Gąsienicowa and Giewont, and the cable car takes you up Kasprowy Wierch.

Tips from your host
Good to know before you come
- Entry to the valleys needs a Tatra National Park ticket, sold at the entrance or online.
- For Morskie Oko take a minibus from the station to Palenica Białczańska; leave the car in our car park.
- Start early for Giewont: the chained section gets crowded by midday, and storms are more common in the afternoon.
- After the trail: a bathtub, a washing machine for sweaty kit, and dinner on the balcony facing Giewont.
